Scherl & Roth student violins are handcrafted with solid spruce tops, maple back and sides hand-inlaid purfling and a hybrid lacquer/spirit varnish. Each instrument is hand adjusted in our shop and set-up with Prelude strings, ebony fingerboards and pegs, select French maple bridge, and a composite tailpiece.
