Kamaka HF36 Koa Tenor 6-string Ukulele (#240734)

The Kamaka 6-string has doubled strings on the C and A strings tuned in octaves. Also known as "the Liliu," the Tenor 6-String was designed by Sam Kamaka Jr. in 1959 to commemorate Hawaii's statehood and pay tribute to Hawaii's last reigning monarch, Queen Liliuokalani. In 1978, a Liliu was presented to the White House as Hawaii's Regional Gift.

All models are made of Hawaiian koa wood with a lacquer finish to show fine grain highlights. Necks are made of mahogany, and fingerboards and bridges are rosewood. All models now include a custom Kamaka Ukulele case.
